Gov Uba Sani renames Center after late Dahiru Bauchi

Kaduna State Governor, Sen Uba Sani has renamed the Centre For Qur’anic Science of Kaduna State University after Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, the late Islamic cleric that died on November 27.
A statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary, Malam Ibraheem Musa, contained that the Governor made this known at the Maulid celebration of Fityanul Islam.
The statement further contained that the Centre will now be known as Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi Centre Of Excellence For Qur’anic Sciences and Memorisation.
It will be recalled that the Governor had promised to immortalise the name of the late Sheikh, when he led a 30-member delegation to Bauchi, to commiserate with the family of the deceased.
Uba Sani also pledged that his Government will establish a Foundation that will continue to preach the inter-religious harmony which the learned Islamic scholar was known for in his lifetime.
Speaking at the Maulid celebration which held at Zaria, the Governor urged Muslims faithful to be united in devotion and to uphold the teachings of Prophet Muhammad(SAW), whose message transcends boundaries.
