We have Toro, Nabordo and Tilden Fulani Divisions. So all those they were saying along Jos road, It falls within their purview.”
Ahmed Wakili stressed that,”But my greatest surprise is that this matter was reported at the GRA Police Station here In Bauchi. After then, the players of the team were treated and they were discharged at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH).”
He also stated that,”But without so much ado, the Command, under the amiable leadership of the Commissioner of Police, Auwal Musa Muhammad will not leave any strone unturned because, for the past many years in Bauchi, this is the first time that we heard of a case of robbery along the Bauchi – Jos highway, because that road is one of the most safest routes.”
He added that,”Besides, all the roads in Bauchi are most safe in the night, People travel along, We are not having cases of robbery, but we are not going to relent on our oars,. The Command has put some certain valves to checkmate, to investigate, to arrest and prosecute the perpetrators of this crime.”
The PPRO added that,”Presently, Our Officers and men from the Tactical Command of the Command have been given directive by the Police Commissioner to intensify efforts and make arrests of the perpetrators of this destardly act.”
“And more so, the players that were robbed of their valuables and properties, if they can be able to get in touched with the Command or we have a complaint ‘rescue me’ application they can be able to send their own complaint through the rescue me application of the Command so that we can be able to trace, track the perpetrators of this destardly acts since they said that they have taking some of their phones,” he added.
The PPRO concluded that,”So, we are going to use that and inshallah, we are going to arrest those perpetrators and bring them to Justice.”
