Not fewer than 100 indigent and vulnerable children have been offered admissions into the Gifted Secondary Schools located in Darazo, Soro, Kafin- Madaki and Sade towns funded by the Member representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency of Bauchi State, Mansur Manu Soro.
The Management of the Mansur Manu Soro (MMS) Foundation made the announcement that it has release names of successful candidates who sat for entry examination into the Gifted Secondary Schools penultimate week ago.
The Successful candidates are therefore advised to pick up their admission letters tomorrow, friday, 4th October 2024 at their existing Junior Secondary Schools and report to the Gifted Secondary School they are admitted to, on Monday, 7th October 2024 for registration.
Established during the year 2021, the 4 Gifted Secondary Schools are been funded by the Member Representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, Mansur Manu Soro, alongside Special Primary School, Lanzai (a border town between Bauchi and Yobe states) for the IDPs children.
The tuition free schools provide complete school kits (comprising of uniform, shoes, books and bag) for free to all admitted students.
The schools also provide them with pocket money (periodically) and free WAEC/NECO registration.
Mansur Manu Soro while congratulating the successful candidates, called on them to work hard to achieve the schools fundamental objectives of preparing them for tomorrow’s leadership.
The Federal Lawmaker expressed his appreciation to the State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for his administration’s continued support in sustaining these schools.
He promised to ensure that his Foundation complemented efforts of the government to promote quality, standard, effective and efficient service delivery in the education sector as contained in a statement by Aleeyu Darazo, DG MMS New Media.
