Breaking New Ground: Boosting trade and unity through Kaduna’s road renaissance

Kaduna State Governor, Sen Uba Sani, has initiated the reconstruction of the asphalt road linking Kwoi and Jaba in Jaba Local Government Area.

The development is marking the first major intervention in over 15 years of poor road network and neglect of the area.

The project, described as a lifeline connecting farmers to markets, children to schools, and patients to hospitals, forms part of the administration’s broader infrastructure renewal efforts aimed at opening up rural communities, stimulating economic activity, and enhancing social integration across Kaduna State.

In addition, the Governor inspected ongoing work on the 22.8km asphalt road stretching from Madauchi through Madakiya to Kafanchan, which links Zangon Kataf and Jema’a Local Government Areas.

Expressing satisfaction with the progress, he urged contractors to ensure timely completion to benefit surrounding communities and the state at large.

These infrastructure improvements underscore the government’s commitment to equity, rural transformation, and expanding the state’s foundation for sustained growth and a higher quality of life for all residents.

Kaduna State is working steadily toward better connectivity, trade, and prosperity as contained in a statement by Prof. Bello Ayuba, PPS to Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State.
