The President of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Isaiah Kemje Benjamin (JP) has lost his beloved mother, Mrs Agnes Isaiah.
SWAN President who was obviously touched by the death, informed that she passed on Thursday night in Minna at the age of 78.
He said that burial arrangements would be communicated in due course.
Among early symphatisers, are the Vice President SWAN South West, Ayodeji who prayed for God to strengthen him to bear the loss.
“May God grant her soul eternal rest and console our President on this irreparable loss,” he said.
Others who extended condolences are, Kaduna SWAN Chairman, Shehu Abdullahi as well as members of the association, Agnes John, Albert Solomon and Zakari Haruna ISAH.
Meanwhile, Bauchi State chapter of the Association has joined in mourning the death of mother of the National President of SWAN, Isaiah Benjamin describing the death as very unfortunate and most painful.
Chairman, Bala Bawaji and Secretary Elizabeth Kah in a joint statement urged the National President to take solace in God praying for the repose of her soul.
