Casual workers who are currently engaged in various MDAs in Bauchi State have been assured of preference as soon as processes for the employment of 10,000 workers into the Civil Service began.
The exercise will be done by the State Government through the State Civil Service Commission (CSC) in collaboration with the Office of the State Head of Civil Service in order to ensure that casual Workers were given priority during the employment exercise.
The disclosure was made by the Chairman, Bauchi State Civil Service Commission (CSC) Dr. Ibrahim Alhaji Muhammad, during an interview with pressmen in his Office on Wednesday.
Ibrahim Muhammad appreciated the State Governor, Sen, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed for the appointment given to him, assuring to justify the confidence reposed in him.
He said that Civil Service, as the engine room of the administration, will ensure Civil Servants in the State were given their rights in terms of progression, upgrading, equal opportunity and other benefits.
He also reiterated his determination to bring changes that align with the Governor’s progressive reform as in his blue print of “My Bauchi Projects” in the Civil Service of the State.
Ibrahim Muhammad said that already, the State Governor has given approval for the employment of 10,000 indigenes of the State that are eligible across the 20 Local Government Areas in the State.
The Chairman also said that, now that the Governor had returned from the Lesser Hajj performed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, he is expected to launch the State employment applying portal and eligible Candidates will commence applying in earnest.
He called on all MDAs to give their maximum cooperation and ensure fairness, equality and transparency during the recruitment exercise to make it hitch-free.
Ibrahim Muhammad urged the teaming unemployed youths to bear with the State Government and continue to support the present administration in it effort to engage them.
