Led by the ECWA International President, Rev.Dr.Ayuba Bagat Mallam, the delegation commended Governor Inuwa Yahaya for fostering religious tolerance and providing a platform for peaceful coexistence.
They described Gombe as a fertile ground for peace, inclusivity, and justice under his administration.
Ayuba Mallam assured the state government of ECWA’s commitment to collaborating on initiatives that improve the lives of the people.
He emphasised that their visit was an opportunity to connect with the people, pray, and fellowship together, expressing hope for success and breakthroughs for ECWA, the Church, Gombe State, and Nigeria.
During the visit, he also offered special prayers for Governor Yahaya, his Deputy, and the entire state.
In his response, Deputy Governor, Manassah Daniel Jatau, appreciated the decision to hold the ECWA Men’s International Fellowship in Gombe and the Church’s visit to the government.
He acknowledged the significance of prayers in sustaining peace and development in the state and urged ECWA men to lead their families in raising children who embody Christian values.
He emphasised the importance of unity within the Christian community, calling on the church to focus on their shared faith rather than denominational differences.
