Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has applauded the Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, and lawmaker representing Akko federal Constituency, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, for delivering people oriented projects to his constituency.
The Governor made the commendation while commissioning a 2-kilometer Dakkiti road facilitated by the Chief Whip as part of the numerous constituency projects for his constituency.
During the commissioning of the road on Thursday, Governor Inuwa Yahaya expressed appreciation to Hon. Usman Bello Kumo for his efforts in bringing the project to his community, stating that he has proven himself to be a hardworking and reliable representative, truly dedicated to serving the people and making a positive impact.
“Hon. Usman Bello Kumo is representing us well. What he is doing is a proof that when you elect someone with capacity and vision for progress, they attract development and progress to their people,” he added.
” We are proud of the representation Hon. Kumo is giving to the people of Akko. We encourage you to do more. Count on our support. We appreciate you for this project and many others you have brought to your constituency”, the Governor said.
The Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Hon. Usman Bello Kumo, expressed gratitude to the Governor for honoring his invitation to commission the project, assuring him of his continued loyalty and support, especially through implementation of programmes and other interventions such as the constituency projects to complement his efforts in providing dividends of democracy to the people of Gombe state.
The Representative of project implementing Ministry, the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Engr Simon, explained that only few among the Federal lawmakers were able to secure this intervention as a constituency project.
He lauded Hon. Kumo for putting in much effort to attract such a gigantic project as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, ( Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
