Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Engr. Dr. Aliyu Mohammed Gadam, former Acting Rector of Gombe State Polytechnic Bajoga and Deputy Director, Center of Excellence, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, who passed away yesterday in Bauchi.
In his condolence message, Governor Inuwa Yahaya described Dr. Gadam as a respected scholar and administrator who made significant contributions to the promotion of technical and vocational education in Gombe State and beyond.
He acknowledged Dr. Gadam’s commitment to nurturing young minds and his role in the development of Gombe State Polytechnic Bajoga during his tenure as Acting Rector.
The Governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of Dr. Gadam, the management and staff of Gombe State Polytechnic Bajoga, and the entire academic community at Federal Polytechnic Bauchi.
He prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Aljannat Firdaus and give his family the strength to bear this great loss as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
