Governor Inuwa Yahaya Mourns Former Commissioner, Julius Ishaya Lepes

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has received with deep sorrow the news of the demise of a former Commissioner in the state, Mr. Julius Ishaya Lepes.
The Governor described the late Mr. Lepes as an upright and cerebral personality who made invaluable contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe State, particularly in the build-up to the present administration.
He noted that during his service as Commissioner for Youth and later for Information and Culture, the deceased distinguished himself with commitment, insight and meaningful contributions to the State Executive Council.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya said his demise is a huge loss, not only to his immediate family and Kaltungo Local Government, but to Gombe State as a whole.
On behalf of the Government and people of Gombe State, the Governor extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, his associates, and the entire people of Kalargu Community of Kaltungo chiefdom.
He prayed Almighty God to grant the departed eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this great loss as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General, (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
