The Kalthum Foundation for Peace has icondemning the recent killings of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical staff in Gaza, attributing these tragic events to actions taken by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
KFP in a statement made available to Journalists stated that, “This incident has raised significant concerns regarding the safety of humanitarian workers and the urgent need for a cessation of hostilities in the region. The Foundation calls for an immediate ceasefire, emphasizing that the protection of medical personnel is paramount in any conflict.”
The Kalthum Foundation for Peace expressed profound sorrow over the loss of MSF medical staff, who were providing essential healthcare services in a region beset by violence and instability.
The Foundation highlights that attacks on medical personnel violate international humanitarian law, which mandates the protection of those who are engaged in the provision of medical care.
According to it, Such acts not only endanger the lives of healthcare workers but also severely compromise the health and well-being of civilians who rely on these services during times of crisis.
In light of these events, the Foundation urged all parties involved to prioritize the safety of civilians and humanitarian workers.
KFP stressed that, “The ongoing conflict has resulted in immense suffering, and the killing of medical staff exacerbates an already dire situation. The Kalthum Foundation calls for an immediate ceasefire to facilitate humanitarian access and protect those who are working tirelessly to save lives.”
The organization emphasized that a cessation of hostilities is essential for fostering dialogue and finding a sustainable resolution to the conflict.

It added that, “By calling for an immediate ceasefire, the Foundation seeks to ensure the protection of humanitarian workers and civilians alike.”
Foundation stressed that, “It is imperative that all stakeholders recognize their responsibilities under international law and work towards a peaceful resolution that prioritizes human dignity and life.”
