In his effort to assist the less privileged and be closer to the people at grassroots, a philanthropist in Yola, the state capital Mr. Pitapwa F. Vokito has organised a free iftaar to the students of Mallam Moh’d Gidado Markaaz at Tafare/Nepa.
According to the Philanthropist, providing food for the students to break fasting during this holy month of Ramadan is a significant virtue of the islamic prophet, prophet Mohd Pbuh.
Mr. Pitapwa said the aim is to eliviate hardship Almajiri students faces in finding food, especially in this holy month, and to bring hope to the people at the grassroots as they are relevant and matter to the society.
Responding, the school teacher Mallam Mohd Gidado appreciates the philanthropic gesture and calls on other well-meaning individuals to emulate Mr. Vokito. According to him, assisting people brings grace, protection and upliftment to the person and the society in general.
The islamic school which has over 200 students most of which are children who were delightful and prayed for the host.
It could be recall that Mr. Pitapwa Vokito had on several occasions provide assistance to the less privileged in the society.
Recently, the Pitapwa football tournament was highly appreciated for promoting unity amongst the youth and providing them with tangible accolades that will help their sports career.
