Niger  CP Receives Achievers  Award  Of  Excellence, Certificate Of Commendation From African Trust Magazine

The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command CP Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, received an Achievers Award of Excellence and Commendation from African Trust Magazine for his competence, outstanding performance and selfless service.

 The presentation took place at the State Police Command Headquarters, Dutsen-Kura Minna, on Friday 5th December 2025.

The African Trust Magazine team, in their presentation stated the visit was aimed at giving due accolades to the Commissioner of Police and the entire Command for their efforts in curbing crime in the State.

He added that prior to this time, they were mandated by the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, to conduct a thorough assessment of all Commands and afterwards, give an appraisal of their achievements thus far and Niger State Command was selected as one of those who stood out under the leadership of the CP in terms of performance, output and community engagement in policing.

The team added that despite the enormous challenges faced by the Police in the State which include the vast land mass and other security concerns, the Command has remained resolute and dedicated in tackling criminality and steming the tide of crimes in the State and as such, the CP was deemed worthy of being a recipient of the African Trust Magazine’s Achievers Award of Excellence as the Best Security Man of the Year, and a Certificate of Commendation by the National Security Watch Publishers was also presented to him for his competence, brilliant performance, outstanding track record in service rendition, immense contributions, capacity to contend with challenges and laudable strides in improving the internal security situation in the State.

He was congratulated, stating that the Award was a gesture of recognition/appreciation based on his performance and achievements as the helmsman of the Command.

In his response, the Commissioner of Police was overwhelmed by the gesture and deeply appreciated the African Trust Magazine for considering him and indeed the Command, a worthy recipient of the Award/Certificates.

He added that such presentations are morale boosters which indicate that the efforts, sacrifices and impact of the Command in internal security are not in vain, but felt and appreciated by all.

He dedicated the Award of Excellence and Certificates of Commendation to all officers and men of the Command for their dedication, support, loyalty and commitment towards securing lives and property of the populace.

He encouraged them to continue to put in their best efforts to ensure that the State is free of all forms of crime and criminality.

He further expressed gratitude to the Magazine once more on behalf of the Command for intimating the public and the Force Leadership of the Command’s efforts  and prayed for Gods blessings and protection upon them always.
