Three of the Five former Commissioners earlier sacked by the Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, Tuesday morning, have resurfaced as Special Advisers in the administration.
The development followed the approv of their appointments as Special Advisers by the Governor in a statement by Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Comrade Mukhtar Gidado, Tuesday evening.
The reappointed former Commissioners now Special Advisers are said to be brought back in to the administration to continue their services.
The former Commissioners now Special Advisers are Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu – Special Adviser on Multi – lateral coordination and Regional Integration, Comrade Usman Danturaki – Special Adviser on Labour Matters and Contributory Pension Scheme and
Professor Simon Madugu Yalams – Special Adviser on Technical and Vocational Education.
Mukhtar Gidado stated that, “The appointments, which take immediate effect, are part of the Governor’s commitment to ensuring effective leadership, inclusivity, and the attainment of his administration’s developmental goals.”
He added in a statement that, “Governor Bala Mohammed urges the appointees to bring their wealth of experience, dedication, and expertise in their respective fields in order to contribute significantly towards the attainment of the Governor’s vision for Bauchi State.”
The Governor also called on them to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, transparency, and renewed focus on improving the lives of the people of Bauchi State.
The Governor further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to good governance, accountability, and inclusive development for all citizens of Bauchi State.
