GOVERNOR BALA OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES VALUEJET AIRLINE FROM SIR ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BALEWA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO NNAMDI AZIKIWE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN ABUJA.
His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Bauchi State, Sen Bala Andulkadir Mohammed CON Fnipr Kauran Bauchi, has today announced to prospective air travelers that ValueJet Airline will commence flight operations from Abubakar Tafawa International Airport, Bauchi, to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
This is in line with Governor Bala’s administration’s determination to open up the state for investors and the economic development of Bauchi State, the North-East Subregion, and the entire nation at large.
Speaking at the occasion held at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa International Airport in Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed expressed confidence that the development will bring an end to the aviation transportation problem in the state.
The daily commercial flights from Bauchi to Abuja will commence immediately. Governor Bala Mohammed said that Bauchi State will witness an unprecedented boost in its commerce and tourism sectors, especially with the discovery of oil in the Alkaleri local government area of the state and other numerous natural resources across the state and region at last.
The daily flights will contribute immensely to the economic development of the state, as Yankari Game Reserve will accordingly play host to many national and international visitors. My administration has come up with arrangements to assist people in the state who will now have their daily flights to improve their commercial activities,” he said.
Governor Bala Mohammed, who appealed to the management of ValueJet Airline to provide efficient services to the state, pledged the government’s commitment to the agreement.
Various speakers on the occasion expressed gratitude for such a remarkable development. The management of the rising airline, ValueJet, assured Governor Bala of effective services for the growth of Bauchi’s economy and Nigeria at large.
