Bauchi State Government has lamented the level of dilapidation of one of its investments in the hospitality industry, Zaranda Hotels and Towers declaring that the situation must change.
Consequently, the State Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, and Investment, Muhammad Salis Gamawa, paid an assessment visit to Zaranda Hotels Limited, which is a historic edifice in the North East.
The visit according to him, is to assess its current state of the edifice and explore revitalization strategies to revitalize it and make it vibrant again.
Acknowledging the hotel’s former prestige, the Commissioner emphasized that the State Governor, Sen Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed is committed to restoring Zaranda Hotels to its past glory and beyond.
The Commissioner explained that the effort aims to boost tourism, enhance hospitality services, and stimulate economic growth in Bauchi State.
Salis Mohammed Gamawa stressed that the Ministry is dedicated to driving the transformation as part of its broader vision for investment promotion and industrial advancement.
The Commissioner stressed that the move is ensuring that Zaranda Hotels becomes a beacon of excellence once again.
