Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON, has expressed deep sadness over the demise of Mr. Bulus Kudi, a Permanent Commissioner with the Gombe State Independent Electoral Commission (GOSIEC).
Mr. Kudi, a retired Director in Gombe State Ministry of Information, passed away yesterday at the age of 66 following a brief illness.
Reacting to the sad event, Governor Inuwa Yahaya described Mr. Kudi as a fine gentleman and dedicated public servant with exceptional skills in public relations and information management.
“Mr. Bulus Kudi was a gentleman and a dedicated public servant whose commitment to duty and the betterment of our state and his community were exemplary.
“His contributions in various capacities were marked by diligence, and a genuine desire to serve. His death is indeed a huge loss, not only for his immediate family and community, but the entire state”.
The Governor, on behalf of the government and people of Gombe State, extended his heartfelt condolences to Mr. Kudi’s immediate family members, the management and staff of GOSIEC, his colleagues and associates, and the Hinna community in Yamaltu Deba local government area.
He prayed Almighty God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, and comfort those he left behind.
Meanwhile, details regarding the burial arrangements will be announced by the deceased’s family as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe.
