Participants at a two days workshop on health insurance for the vulnerable population have been urged to come with positive recommendations geared towards providing affordable health care to vulnerable across the state.
The Permanent Secretary Bauchi State Ministry of Health Ali Babayo Gamawa gave the charged while addressing the stakeholders of the workshop in Bauchi.
Ali Babayo said provision of qualitative health care to people remained top priority of present administration in the state.
He appreciated the organisers of the event and reaffirmed commitment of government to implement the stakeholders recommendations aim at accessible of health care to vulnerable people across the state.
On his part Pharmacist Khalid Kasim of USAID Integrated Health Program said the aim of organising the workshop is to obtain inputs, recommendations on how to assist vulnerable people to benefit from Bauchi State Contributory Management Scheme BASHCMA.
The stakeholders drawn from Media practitioners, representatives of religious organisations, among others.
