Bauchi State Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed says his administration has made huge investment in the education sector to overcome the challenges inherited in the sector.
The governor made this known while speaking at the Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar Primary, Islamiyya and Secondary School in Miya, Ganjuwa Local Government Council.
Governor Bala Mohammed said his administration has prioritized the sector and seek for the support and collaboration of critical stakeholders to tackle the scourge of out of school children in the state.
He appreciated Sultan of Sokoto for working tirelessly in the promoting Islamic knowledge and promised to support all his initiatives in Bauchi in line with the responsibility of the state government policy of providing qualitative education.
He assured to support the Sultan Saad Abubakar Primary, Islamiyya and Secondary School with laboratory and other needed facilities to enable it be a centre of excellence in teaching and learning.
Also speaking, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the recent education summit conducted in the state which he believed will address many challenges facing the society.
