The Coalition of Muslim Women Associations, Bauchi State Chapter has commemorate this year’s World Hijab Day with the theme “Vailed in Strength.
The Coalition in this year’s celebration selected Abujan Kwata community and offered special Awareness on importance of Hijab Day and provided Hijab and other clothes to the women in the area.
In her papar presentation, a female Islamic cleric in Bauchi State,Malama Juwairiyya Usman Suleiman highlited some of the importance of wearing Hijab, which according to her, it coveres the body and protect the wearers from harrasement and other ugly trends.
She also used the medium to call on parents to carefully monitor the moment of their children to have an egalaterian society.
In her keynote address,The Bauchi State Amira of FORWAN, Hajia Habiba Usman ,said in making the Hijab Day successful all women led Islamic organizations were collaborating in conducting various activities , such as Radio programmes, Outreach to a Community within Bauchi metropolis where sensitization on good conduct and maintaining the Islamic ethics in the lives of Muslim women.
She called on the public to desist from unholy behavior while wealthy people should offer assistance to the poor to have a sense of belonging.
Speaking,on behalf of the beneficiaries ,Rakiya Muhammad and Hauwa Ibrahim expressed their happiness to the Association for selecting Abujan kwata to commemorate this year’s World Hijab Day, prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.
Meanwhile,The federation of Muslim Association of Nigeria has described indecent dresses to the erosion of social values responsible for moral decadence.
This is contained in a press statement issued by Amirah of the Association, Hajiya Habiba Sa’ad Usman Association on the commemoration of the year’s world hijab Day by the coalition of Muslim women Association and made a copy available to journalists in Bauchi.
According to the Amirah, the world Hijab day commemorates,The importance of wearing hijab and decent dress to women in Islam, aim protect their dignity.
She enjoined women to desist from unholy behaviors and practices that have negative impact on their lives.
The Amirah, emphasized that all stakeholders must be involved to bring back the Lost glory of good society upbringing for nation building.
The Federation of Muslim women Association of Nigeria, advocated the practices that would promote harmonious relationship in the society.
