The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Gombe State Council, extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community in Gombe State and across the nation as they celebrate the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the occasion of Maulud Nabiyy.
This was conveyed in a press release signed by the Chairman of NUJ Gombe State Council, Malam Faruk Mu’azu, and made available to news men on sunday.
“I offer my warm regards to all Muslim journalists, media professionals, and the entire Muslim Ummah in the state,” the statement read
.”Let us observe this sacred celebration with gratitude and reverence, reflecting on the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), which advocate for peace, love, and compassion.
” I encourage journalists and media professionals to uphold the values of integrity, fairness, and balanced reporting, particularly during this period,” he said.
He further expressed his hopes that the celebration would inspire greater peace, unity, and progress in Gombe State and throughout Nigeria.
