Since assuming office in 2019, Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has left an indelible mark on Toro Local Government, transforming it into a model of infrastructure development. The governor’s commitment to the people of Toro has earned him their admiration and loyalty, as evident in the highest number of votes he received from the area in the last election.
The governor’s infrastructure projects in Toro have been a game-changer, improving the lives of residents and boosting economic activities. The ongoing Gel Jaule to Lame road project is a testament to his vision for a connected and prosperous Toro. Recently, he awarded the contract for the construction of the Durum to Takanda road, further demonstrating his dedication to the area’s development.
Today, the people of Nabardo and Rimin Zayan communities are celebrating as the governor flags off the construction of their township roads. This project will not only improve the aesthetic appeal of the communities but also enhance the quality of life for residents.
Governor Mohammed’s impact on Toro Local Government is a shining example of what visionary leadership can achieve. His selfless service and commitment to the people have earned him a special place in their hearts. As one resident aptly put it, “If there is only one son that Toro will ever be grateful to, then it is Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed CON.”
The governor’s transformation agenda for Toro is far from over. With several projects in the pipeline, the future looks bright for the local government. As the people of Toro continue to reap the benefits of Governor Mohammed’s leadership, they remain grateful for his unwavering commitment to their welfare.
In conclusion, Governor Bala Mohammed’s contributions to Toro Local Government are a testament to his exemplary leadership and dedication to the people. His legacy will undoubtedly be remembered for generations to come, inspiring future leaders to follow in his footsteps.
The success of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration can be attributed to the quality of his political appointees, who were chosen based on their capacity and credibility rather than religious or tribal affiliations. My appointment as the Director-General of the Bauchi State Public Procurement Bureau is a testament to this commitment, and I am proud to be part of a team driving positive change in the state. Since assuming office, I have ensured transparency and accountability in the procurement process, contributing to the successful execution of various projects.
The impact of Governor Bala Mohammed’s transformational strides in Toro Local Government is evident in the numerous completed projects, including the previously unmotorable Magama-Gumau Road, which is now a thing of the past. The Rishi, Tama, and Tolu areas have been transformed with new infrastructure, while the Rimin Zayan-Dass road and Mararraban Ganye linking Gumau are just a few examples of the governor’s achievements. These projects have not only improved the lives of residents but also demonstrated the governor’s commitment to developing the local government, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Comparing Governor Bala Mohammed to the late Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Nigeria’s first Prime Minister, is no mistake or slip of the tongue. Rather, it’s a testament to his leadership commitment to making Bauchi State great again, despite limited resources. The infrastructural developments in Toro Local Government are a clear indication of his dedication to the people, earning him their admiration and loyalty.
Governor Bala has won the hearts of Toro citizens, who are eager to work in his direction, both during and after elections. His impact goes beyond words on paper; he is undoubtedly Toro’s best friend and greatest son. Those resorting to political games, name-calling, and mudslinging will be proven wrong when the elections come. With his impressive track record as Chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, former Senator, and Minister of the FCT, Governor Bala is tipped to lead in higher positions, potentially as President or Vice President, both within and outside the state.
In conclusion, Toro Local Government will remain eternally grateful and a solid support base for Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, always ready to stand by him in times of need. Those who doubt this unwavering loyalty will live to witness even more remarkable achievements by the Governor, not only in Toro and Bauchi State but also at the national level, as his legacy continues to unfold and inspire generations to come.
