The Zaar Development Association (ZDA) Worldwide has reitersted its commitment to the actualuzation of the much sort after Zaar Chiefdom assuring that it will diligently pursue the course.
The decision was taken during the 2024 Zaar General Congress which held on Saturday, 29th June, 2024 at the ZDA Permanent Secretariat in Tafawa Balewa town as contained in a statement by the Secretary General of ZDA, Numshi .
According to him,”Zarmi also alleged that President Galla have been disrespecting the Gungzar select, Air Commodore Ishaku Komo rtd. The GungZaar select is a leader whom our Community selected to help lead our quest for self-actualization. It was a means to the end of the struggle and not the reverse.”
He stressed that,”The powers to crown a substantive GungZaar lies in the hand of the State Governor and that’s why we are following the procedure to fulfil the requirements. What played out during the so-called ECWA 2 Tafawa Balewa town hall meeting was selfish interest and politics.”
He explained that,”The ZDA National participated in the Amb. Jibrin Dada Chinade’s Committee for the review and implementation of Justice Babalakin, Shehu Awak and Justice Bala Umar on the creation of Zaar(Sayawa) Chiefdom 2022.”
He further said that, “There has been a meeting with a group of 20/20 from both sides to meet with the Governor’s representative. A committee have also been sponsored by the Government to travel to Plateau, Kaduna and Nasarawa States to interface with their Chiefdoms. They were briefed on how Chiefdoms are created and run.”
“We have also gained the support of other tribes, but ,unfortunately the recent townhall meeting was a mockery to the ongoing process, thus, we call on the Government to ignore any News emanating from the naysayers and forge ahead with their intended good plans for the zaar people,”he added.
The ZDA thereby disowned Mr Danny Luka Zarmi for insorbordination just as it described the recently held townhall meeting in ECWA Church, Tafawa Balewa and the subsequent press release as misinforming, misguiding and capable of causing more division in Zaarland.
The ZDA subsequently termed the so called townhall meeting held in ECWA Church by Danny Zarmi as a “negative effort to sabotage the almost complete process of the actualisation of Zaar Chiefdom.”
According to Mr Numshi Mailafiya, ZDA National Secretary General, “It was an illegal gathering owing to the fact that he (Danny Zarmi) lacks such powers to convene that Meeting and that he is unknown to ZDA National as his predecessor is yet to introduce him to the NEC/Congress in session.”
“So, he lacks the Impetus to make any allegation against the President, let alone, sell falsehood in the name of a Propaganda,” he stressed.
The Secretary General added that, “The desperation of Mr. Zarmi to assume the position of the National President have been evident the very day he started making calls to ZDA Branch Chairmen to convey an evil gathering, thus he was disgraced by the absence of most of them. If Mr. Zarmi wants to be President, he should wait for the tenure of Engr Isuwa Galla to expire then he can vye for the position, but, for now, there’s no vacancy.”
He also stated that,”Members at the Zaar General Congress also frowned at ZDA Lagos branch for their continue interest in the creation of crisis and havoc in Zaar land. This is evident from their many offsprings of disunity like: ZDA CTC, Zaarland First Movement,True ZDA Patriot, ISOZI, Gungzaar Kingdom Ltd and now Coalition of ZDA’s is laughable.”
“As we all know, the ill motives behind all of this fraternities they so claim to be working for Peace while in their dealings they try so hard to truncate the unity we are enjoying,” he added.
Numshi Mailafiya added that, “ZDA Worldwide has never segregated against any branch or individual but since ZDA Lagos Branch lost her bid to win the seat of the President in 2017 it has been on an evil mission of distorting the reign of Engr Isuwa Galla. Mr. Zarmi alleged that the President Violated the constitution by registering illegal Branches but forgets that it was during the Late Barr. Bala Gambar’s tenure that he insisted that all Local Governments within Bauchi State be given equal status with that of States as enshrined in the ZDA Constitution (Article 2 Section 6.2).”
The ZDA Secretary General further stated that,”During the Zaar General Congress meeting, we had 21 Branches of the ZDA in attendance out of the 33 Branches where some of the absentees also sent in their apologies for missing out. Goodwill reports were received across the Nation.”
He concluded stating that,”The Zaar General Congress provided a platform for key stakeholders, leaders, traditional leaders and representatives to come together to deliberate on important issues that impact the development and prosperity of our community.”
