Nationwide League One, NLO campaigners, Funtua Sharks football club will swallow its Group G1B opponents in the coming 2023 league season taking place at Ahmadu Bello University, ABU stadium, the chairman Idris Ibrahim a.k.a Babanta has boasted.
The club honcho disclosed his NLO side has complied with all laid down conditions and have been assert to be qualified to compete in the league, this season.
Babanta as he is fondly called by his admirers said “we are ready, our team has paid and fulfilled all necessary requirements to play in the league this season.”
He further said “our team is zoned to play it’s matches at ABU Zaria Stadium, the Players, technical crew and the management of the club are all ready for the new season.
He said however, “finance could pose some constraints, but with the assistance, we are getting and hoping to get from members of the football stakeholders in and around the town and other football loving fans within the town, sure we are good to go out against any level of opposition and submerge them, when the league kicks off.
He assured their fans of an enterprising outing in the league, saying “we promise to put up a good outing, we pray for hitch free matches and a fruitful and successful season.
Funtua Sharks are in for a tough battle against the following group G1B customers, Kurfi Tigers, Katsina Junior fc, Bakori fc, Ambassadors fc, Standard fc, ABU fc, Kafanchang Selected.
The NLO 2023 season will kick off, May 3, this year.
