The staffs of the Kano state ministry of health have been commended for their punctuality and dedication to duty.
The commendation was made by the Commissioner of the Ministry, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, today while bidding farewell to the staffs as his tenure has come to an end.
It could be recalled that the Kano State Government has on 22nd May, 2023 through the office of the Secretary to the State Government issued a circular directing all political officer holders to hand over affairs of their offices to the most senior officer in the MDAs.
In a statement signed by the information officer state ministry for health Ibrahim Abdullahi said the he commissioner recalled that it was like yesterday when he stepped his legs into the ministry after been appointed by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, surprising that time is indeed flying.
Dr. Tsanyawa further said he has met the staffs of the ministry very energetic and passionate to duty, maintaining that it is what aided him to discharge his responsibilities successfully.
He said, “Sincerely speaking, staffs of the ministry of health supersede their counterparts in other MDAs in terms of dedication to duty. It is a delight to us to come to the ministry at 8 in the morning and get the staffs have already reported to work, and they don’t go anywhere until the official time is off. This is surely very commendable.
“He also stated that, all the successes and commendations garnered during his stewardship were as a result of the maximum cooperation accorded to him by the staffs of the ministry, buttressing that “Without you these accomplishments wouldn’t have been achieved.””
I sincerely commend you from the bottom of my heart. I urge you to redouble effort because the ministry of health is not like other ministries. It is the ministry that oversees health of the people. It is the ministry where slightest negligence will lead to the enormous problems and negative repercussions in the society.” Dr. Tsanyawa said.
“This ministry is a hub of healthcare system of the state. If we didn’t do what is expected on us, we couldn’t have called other staffs at the hospitals to order if they didn’t render services they are required to provide to the patients”, Dr. Tsanyawa warned.
The commissioner then enjoined them to extend similar cooperation to the next commissioner, urging them to give him all the needed support for the system to further flourish in order to meet up the yearnings of the people of the state and solicited forgiveness from any staff he wronged knowingly or unknowingly.
Dr. Tsanyawa then commended Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for given him the ample opportunity to serve the state at both the Hospitals Management Board and the Ministry of Health respectively, saying “This is an indication of true love and respect I enjoy from His Excellency. May Allah reward you and be your guide throughout your life.S
Staffs who spoke during the event described Dr. Amin Ibrahim Tsanyawa as humble, generous, simple and hardworking commissioner who they enjoyed working with.
