In a strategic move aimed at bolstering its coaching staff, Gombe United FC has officially announced the signing of Bala Nikyu, a seasoned and veteran in Nigeria football management.
Bala Nikyu brings with him, a wealth of experience as the Technical Adviser for several prominent clubs in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL), including Wikki Tourists FC, Katsina United FC and Nasarawa United FC, with a successful track record, including a stint as the head coach of Niger Tornadoes.
The decision to enlist Bala Nikyu’s expertise comes as Gombe United prepares for the crucial remainder of the NPFL fixtures. With the club’s sights set on maintaining its status in the league. The management believes that Nikyu’s leadership will provide the necessary guidance to navigate through the challenges ahead.
Speaking on the acquisition, Abubakar Abubakar Yellow, the General Manager of Gombe United, expressed confidence in Nikyu’s capabilities, stating, “Nikyu is a well-experienced gaffer. His proven track record and tactical knowledge will be invaluable assets to our team.
