Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has launched a new dawn that will see to institutional strengthening among line Ministries, Departments and Agencies for effective service delivery.
The development was done with the official launching of Four operational vehicles through the Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) Project which is a World Bank assisisted project working in the critical sector of environmental sustainability and development, water resources management and agriculture among other issues.
The Four Vehicles were procured to support the activities of the line Ministries of Housing and Environment, Water Resources, Agt and Project Implementation Unit of ACReSAL Project.
Speaking at the brief ceremony held at premises of the Governor’s Office, State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government and the World Bank for their continued support.
He emphasized that his administration is committed to leveraging such interventions to deliver the benefits of democracy to Bauchi residents.
The Governor however, urged the line Ministries to utilize the vehicles effectively in order to maximize their impact for the development of the state in all ramifications.
The Commissioner of Housing and Environment, Rt Hon Danlami Ahmed Kawule appreciated Governor Bala Mohammed for his continous support to the ACReSAL Project and other interventions pledging to make the best use of the vehicles provided.
The Project Coordinator, ACReSAL Project, Dr Kabir Ibrahim said that the vehicles would assist greatly in facilitating and actualising ACReSAL Project in the State.
