Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir on Tuesday, assured the people of Ningi Emirate that his administration will fulfil the wish of the late Emir, Muhammadu Yunusa Danyaya.
The Governor was speaking when he led other personalities to Ningi for the Three days fidau prayers for the repose of the late Emir of Ningi, Muhammadu Yunusa Danyaya in accordance with the Islamic in junctions.
Bala Mohammed extolled the virtues of the late Emir and promised that a credible person from the royal family would be installed in line with the plea and wish of the late Emir.
The Governor acknowledged the contributions of the late Emir to the state and his commitment to peace and development.
Bala Mohammed was joined in the prayers by all other Emirs in the state led by the Chairman, Bauchi State Traditional Council who is the Emir of Bauchi, Dr Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu and prominent personalities from within and outside Bauchi state were in attendance at the special prayer session
The prayer session was led by the Chief Imam of Bauchi Central Mosque, Imam Bala Baban Inna aimed at attracting Allah’s forgiveness on the shortcomings of the late Emir.
Speaking on behalf of the state traditional institutions, the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu also prayed for Allah to grant eternal rest to the deceased.
The Emir of Bauchi stated that the gathering demonstrated the respect and admiration for the late Emir, who passed away after a prolonged illness.
Recall that the Emir died in a Kano hospital, Expert Alliance Hospital during a protracted in the early hours of Sunday and was buried same day in the evening.
Until his return to Nigeria for continuation of treatment, late Yunusa Danyaya underwent a medical trip in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
