Adamawa state Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Friday 2nd Sept,2023 inaugurated the Adamawa State Human Capital Development Council,with a mandate to improve the living standards of the people of Adamawa State.
During the inauguration ceremony at the government house in Yola, the state capital, Governor Fintiri, said his administration desire to enhance the living standards of the people is the foundation of a thriving economy and harmonious society.
The state governor who described the event as significant effort toward making the state better for the people also mentioned that projects, policies, and programmes of his administration aligned with the mandates of the Council.
According to Governor Fintiri the council will oversee all Human Capital Development activities in Adamawa.
The Governor call on the council members to work collaboratively, bringing the wealth of their experiences into the human Capital Development service.
In her inauguration remark, the Deputy Governor Professor Kleptawa Farauta describes Governor Fintiri as human Capital Governor, disclosed that the council members are hopeful of replicating confidence reposed in them by the governor.
The Adamawa State Human Capital Development Council includes Commissioner of Education Dr. Umar Garba Fela,Commissioner for Entrepreneurship Iliya James,Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Anthony Emmanuel and Health Commissioner Chief Felix Tangwami as Members.
