Concern about the well-being of its citizens, Gombe State Government had sent a high powered delegation on a sympathy visit to the victims of Christmas accidents that occurred while some Christian faithfuls were on procession for the traditional Christmas Homage to the Gombe Emirs Palace and Government House respectively.
The Deputy Governor Manassah Daniel Jatau alongside the SSG Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi and Head of security Agencies were received on the visit to the FTH by the chief Medical Director Prof Yusuf who took them round to sympathize with affected victims and family members.
The Gombe State CAN Chairman Rev. Father Joseph Shinga the ECWA Assistant General Secretary and some officials of the Christian Association were also present during the visit.
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON had earlier directed that all medical Bills for the treatment of the affected persons be settled by the State Government.
The Deputy Governor conveyed Governor Yahaya and Government deepest sympathy and prayed God for speedy recovery by Joshua Danmallam, Information Officer, SSG’s office, Gombe.
