The Zaar Development Association (ZDA), a Socio-Cultural organisation of Zaar Nation has commended Bauchi State Government for finally approving the creation of much sought after Sayawa Chiefdom.
The ZDA particularly stated that, it is thrilled to express its profound gratitude and appreciation to Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, for his courageous and visionary decision to create the long-awaited Zaar (Sayawa) Chiefdom.
According to the National President of ZDA, Engr Isuwa Galla, “This monumental achievement is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to the development and well-being of the Zaar people, who have been advocating for this recognition for generations.”
He stated that, “Our forefathers fought tirelessly for this cause, and we are honored to see their dreams become a reality under Governor Mohammed’s leadership.”
Engr Isuwa Galla added that, “We are particularly delighted that the Governor has chosen Tafawa Balewa(Pusji) as the headquarters of the Zaar (Sayawa) chiefdom.”
“This decision is a clear demonstration of the Governor’s willingness to listen to the concerns and aspirations of the Zaar people,” he stressed.
He added that, “The ZDA wishes to acknowledge the Governor’s efforts to promote peaceful coexistence and development in Bauchi State, particularly by bringing the Non Zaar indigenes to be part of the Zaar Chiefdom.”
The ZDA President added that, “His administration’s commitment to addressing the long-standing demands of the Zaar people is a significant step towards achieving harmony and progress in the region.”
“We urge all Zaar people to unite and support the Governor’s initiatives, as we work together towards a brighter future for our community,” Isuwa Galla concluded.
