Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, has again berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for deliberate failure to address the pervasive hunger, anger, and severe poverty affecting Nigerians.
The Governor vetted his anger on Wednesday while speaking at the flagging off of campaigns for the LGA election organized by the State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), held at the Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu Arena, Government House.
Bala Mohammed urged the Federal Government to stop making excuses and provide lasting solutions for the citizens.
He expressed concern over the recent attacks by hoodlums during the #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protests, advocating for dialogue and peaceful resolution of grievances.
He however called on the Federal Government and the President to stop justifying itself and provide lasting solutions for citizens.
The Governor then highlighted his administration’s numerous achievements in terms of developmental projects across the state.
He emphasized the need for citizens to vote for PDP candidates in the August 17 local government election to ensure continuity of good governance.
The Governor reiterated his commitment to supporting the effective operation of all tiers of government, enabling people at the grassroots to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
The event was attended by PDP stalwarts, including Senators Bala Kariya, Adamu Ibrahim Gumba, and flagbearers.
The Governor’s remarks came as a wake-up call to the federal government to take concrete actions to address the pressing issues facing Nigerians.
