Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has been honored with Special Recognition Award by the National Defence College, Nigeria.
The award was presented to the Governor on Thursday, 21st August in Abuja in recognition of his exceptional service to the nation and his unwavering commitment to the training objectives and development of the College.
The Governor, represented at the event by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Aminu Hassan Gamawa, expressed deep gratitude for the recognition.
Aminu Gamawa conveyed the Governor’s appreciation to the Commandant of the College and his team for their outstanding work in providing cutting-edge research, teaching, and training that are essential in producing the next generation of leaders, not only in Nigeria but from across the globe.
The award was conferred during the Graduation Dinner and Award Night of the National Defence College, Course 32, under the seal of the National Defence College.
The event brought together key stakeholders in the security sector, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in ensuring national and global peace.
Bala Mohammed commended the NDC for its role in shaping future leaders, emphasizing that the institution’s commitment to excellence is critical in addressing the leadership challenges facing Nigeria today.
He reiterated that true leadership is not about titles or individuals but about collective efforts, partnerships, and sacrifices that contribute to a peaceful and progressive society. Security is a collective responsibility.
Bala Mohammed’s leadership in Bauchi State has been widely recognized for its focus on inclusivity, transparency, and the welfare of the people.
